Therapists work with families to maximize functional independence and reach developmental milestones. Helps children gain independence with mobility while also strengthening the development of fine motor,

sensory, and visual motor skills that children need to socialize and function within their

environment.

Lymphedema therapy is a comprehensive program for chronic swelling of a body part that may have resulted from illness, physical trauma or surgery. Our occupational therapists and physical therapists are trained in the care of lymphedema. Patients receive complete decongestive therapy that stimulates the lymphatic drainage system to decrease swelling.

Our wheelchair seating and mobility assessments are for any person requiring the use of wheeled mobility in their home, work, and community environment. We evaluate individuals for their seating and positioning needs to improve posture and function in the wheelchair for maximum independence and safety in the home and community.

A home modification is any alteration made to a home to meet the needs of people who have different physical abilities, often to specifications outlined by

the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA). These alternations are made so that disabled or differently-abled people can live independently and safely in their home.
